An expansion of Pella’s Insynctive smart solutions line, the factory-installed sensors are available for Designer Series windows and patio doors and Architect Series and Pella entry doors. 

A Status Indicator lets homeowners know at a glance if windows and doors are open/closed and locked/unlocked. They also can monitor the status via a compatible home automation system and smartphone.

Along with factory-installed sensors, Pella offers universal Insynctive sensors that can be mounted onto the window or door frame. 

The Insynctive technology line also includes motorized between-the-glass blinds that can be controlled via remote and also programmed to raise and lower throughout the day for privacy and comfort control.  

We will have to wait and see if other window companies add this type of feature with in their product lines. Price and replacement and warranty costs will dictate demand. With New Home builders utilizing more windows, it is just a matter of time if that stone really has any place to go.
